NanoNet International Conference 2019

The International Conference 2019 of the International Helmholtz Research School for Nanoelectronic Networks (IHRS NanoNet) will be held in Dresden from October 08 - 11, 2019. Location will be the hotel Innside by Melia in Dresden Downtown.

Workshop Focus

We expect about 80 participants, especially students and scientists from our School, from the Dresden area, and from other institutions and labs all around the world. The program will cover the following topics:

Contributed Papers / Best Poster Prize

Besides the lectures given by the Invited Speakers, Contributed Talks and Posters will presented.
A poster prize will be awarded to the best poster presenter.

Program / Participants

The program will start on Tuesday at lunch time and run until Friday lunch time. A detailed program will come in time.
We will have a Poster Session on Tuesday, late afternoon.
Different guided Walking Tours on topics like 'Composers and Music', 'Peaceful Revolution 1989', 'Architecture', and 'Baroque and the Wedding of 1719' will be provided on Wednesday afternoon, duration about 2h.
The social highlight will be the Steam Boat trip on Thursday together with the Conference Dinner. We will travel on the historic paddle steamer 'Krippen' built in the year 1892, more info here.

Registration / Fees / Support

There is no conference fee.
Room rates are 89/64.50 EUR per person and night in single/double room. On request we provide financial support by (1) waiving the accommodation costs and/or (2) partial travel funding for participants with contribution- talk or poster. Details see Registration instructions.
Registration Deadline is August 27th (extended) for applicants requesting financial support, and September 15th for all other applications.
Invitations will be sent about 1 week after the deadline.
In case you need an invitation letter for visa application, please contact the NanoNet coordinator by email.

Contributed papers will be presented as talk or poster. Please mark your preference at the registration.
Participation in the workshop program is by invitation only.

Personal data processing follows the German law for protection of personal data (“Bundesdatenschutzgesetz”) and the European General Data Protection Regulation (EU 2016/679).
