NanoNet International Conference 2019
The International Conference 2019 of the International Helmholtz Research School for Nanoelectronic Networks (IHRS NanoNet) was held in Dresden from October 08 - 11, 2019.

Conference Focus
We could welcome 61 participants of 20 nationalities, especially students and scientists from our School, from the Dresden area, and from other institutions and labs all around the world. The program covered the following topics:- Single Molecules

Contributed Papers / Best Poster Prize
Besides the lectures given by the Invited Speakers, Contributed Talks and 25 Posters were presented.
The Best Poster Prize was awarded to Jana Marie Mayer from Hamburg University.
The Second Prize went to Tim Kühne from TU Dresden, and the Third Prize was awarded to Benjamin Hacker from FAU Erlangen/Nürnberg.

Program
The program started on Tuesday at lunch time and run until Friday lunch time.
We had a Poster Session with 25 posters on display on Tuesday, late afternoon.
Different guided Walking Tours on topics like
'Composers and Music',
'Peaceful Revolution 1989',
'Architecture', and
'Baroque and the Wedding of 1719' provided more insight to Dresden and Saxony history, arts and architecture on Wednesday afternoon.
The social highlight was the Steam Boat trip on Thursday together with the Conference Dinner. We will travel on the historic paddle steamer 'Meissen' built in the year 1885, more info

Participants / Registration / Fees / Support
There is no conference fee.
Room rates are 89/64.50 EUR per person and night in single/double room.
We provide financial support for participants with accepted oral or poster contribution by
(1) providing free board and lodging, and
(2) partial travel funding if requested.
Registration Deadline was extended to September 23rd.
Contributed papers were presented as talk or poster.
Participation in the workshop program was by invitation only.
